TRC20 transfer events: what to monitor
Short answer
TRC20 is a contract standard for tokens on TRON. Token transfers use a smart contract; monitoring native TRX transfers alone does not cover USDT TRC20.
What does the event contain?
The TRC20 interface defines a Transfer event with sender, recipient and value. Track the token contract as well as the wallet address. Token amounts use the contract’s decimals, rather than a universal decimal scale.
What should an alert tell you?
Keep the transaction identifier, direction, amount and confirmation state together. A transfer notification and a counterparty list check answer different questions.
Never give a monitoring service your private key or recovery phrase.
