Incoming USDT TRC20 notifications
Short answer. USDT TRC20 transfers are events of the token contract, not ordinary TRX transfers, so an alert has to watch the contract's Transfer events for your address. TRCBeacon does this and can also flag a Tether or OFAC hit on the sender.
Why can't I just watch my TRX balance?
A TRC20 token moves through its smart contract, which emits a Transfer event; watching native TRX transfers alone does not cover USDT (TRON TRC-20 interface). See also TRC20 transfer events.
What can an alert tell me?
A webhook can send transfer.seen, transfer.confirmed, transfer.reorged and aml.hit events, so you see a transfer on arrival, again when it is confirmed, and when the sender is on the Tether blacklist or an OFAC list.
How do I start?
Open the Telegram bot, add the address you receive USDT on and choose how to be notified. You can test an address first in the checker.
