Check a USDT TRC20 address for blocks and sanctions

Free and without sign-up: we compare the TRON address with the USDT blacklist in the Tether contract and with the OFAC SDN list. The result takes a couple of seconds.

How the check works

Tether keeps the list of blocked addresses right in the USDT smart contract on the TRON network. We read it from our own node and refresh it with every new block. We load the OFAC SDN list from the website of the US Treasury and compare every TRON crypto address in it.

What the check does not do

It does not assess how “dirty” funds are along the chain of transfers and does not link an address to exchanges or mixers. That takes full AML scoring.

Check through the API

Questions about the check

Can I check an ERC20 or BEP20 address?

For now only the TRON network: TRX and USDT-TRC20.

How many checks can I run for free?

Up to 20 checks per minute and 500 per day from one IP address. To check incoming transfers continuously, use monitoring or the API.

Do you store the addresses I check?

No. The address you check is not written to logs and is not stored. Limits are counted by a hash of the IP address that changes every day.
